What Is The Difference Between Sub Project, Milestone, and Task?

You may create a project and add it under a more extensive project as a task. 

The child project that is added under the parent is called SubProject. 

Milestone and Task are very similar, except that Milestones can be linked-to Project Billing. You may create a billing schedule to auto-generate an invoice when a milestone is completed. 

You may add child Tasks under both Milestones and Tasks.
